Biography

About Chris Webber

Chris Webber has long been known in the Sacramento community for his role on the Sacramento Kings. As a 5-time NBA All Star, the veteran NBA player helped lead the Kings to two Pacific Division Titles and a Western Conference Finals appearance. “C-Webb” and his teammates Vlade Divac, Brad Miller, Mike Bibby, Peja Stojakovic, Bobby Jackson and Doug Christie electrified NBA fans with their team play and passion on the court. They brought a city together and on its feet!

Webber applies this same passion, dedication, service and hard work into Center Court with C-Webb Restaurant. The restaurant’s décor highlights not only some of Webber’s personal accomplishments on and off the court, but the players, coaches and teams that have inspired him in life. Tables feature images from some of Webber’s favorite teammates including Juwan Howard, Jason Williams, Chris Mullin and Allen Iverson. Jerseys from Webber’s toughest opponents including Charles Barkley, Kevin Garnett, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaq O’Neal and Michael Jordan hang from the walls. However, it is the images and words of wisdom from icons such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West and Larry Bird that set the tone for this basketball inspired restaurant.

But it is the fans that are honored most of all. Webber wanted his restaurant to be the place that local teams go to celebrate their victories. Where kids and parents may enjoy an experience together. A place where friends meet up for a cocktail and listen to live music after a long days work. It is a place that Webber is proud to bring his NBA teammates, friends and family.

Webber visits with guests at the restaurant as much as possible both during the NBA season and his off season. Visit our news page (link to news page) for a listing of appearances by C-Webb.
